El disco homónimo del compositor y vocalista Bobby Charles es una absoluta maravilla, una auténtica pieza musical de raíces y R&B procedente de Lousiana. Compuesto en su mayor parte durante su estancia en el pueblo de Woodstock. Bobby Charles une fuerzas con los miembros de The Band (exceptuando a Robbie Robertson) y especialmente con Rick Danko, consiguiendo un resultado fascinante, con ese sonido tan característico que logra mezclar con maestría ritmos funky y country, propios de The Band. Perfecto acompañamiento para una calurosa tarde de verano en el campo.
